Groundbreaking Ceremony

Last week, members of our Carlisle team had the pleasure of attending a groundbreaking ceremony for Cumberland County’s new state health center, located at 27 Brookwood Avenue in South Middleton Township.

The Commonwealth’s 59 state health centers provide immunizations, HIV/STD testing, tuberculosis tests and treatment, and related services. State Secretary of Health Debra Bogen calls these centers one of Pennsylvania’s “best kept secrets” and notes their critical role in disease prevention statewide.

Cumberland County’s current state health center is located at 431 E. North St. in Carlisle, serving around 4,000 residents. Operations will move to Brookwood Avenue when construction finishes.

This project involves constructing a 3,500 square-foot addition onto the existing building, landscaping, and adequate Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs). FSA prepared the subdivision plan for lot consolidation and provided the landscaping, stormwater management, grading, and improvement plans for the other project elements. KD3 Design Studio produced the architecture plans.

FSA is very proud to be apart of this project for the Commonwealth. Thank you to Linlo Properties for choosing FSA to help get the job done!
