Mr. Frederick has been working in the field of surveying and civil engineering since 1974.
In 1986, after many years with other firms in charge of State Highway engineering and survey projects, Mr. Frederick became a partner at J. Harold Seibert and Associates with Mr. Seibert, the County Surveyor of Washington County, MD since 1941.
Mr. Frederick has served as an expert witness on the Washington County Circuit Court for various investigations. In addition, he has taught surveying technology as an engineering instructor at Hagerstown Community College.
Mr. Frederick is very involved in the Franklin County, PA and Washington County, MD communities and has served on numerous boards and advisory committees. He was also appointed as a member of the Rural Area Zoning Task Force to review and make recommendations regarding the 2007 Rural Rezoning.
Mr. Doty has been with FSA since 2007, starting as a summer intern and moving into full time employment in 2008. As a Penn State graduate in Civil Engineering, he learned how to implement solid Civil Engineering principles into a variety of projects. In the midst of the Great Recession, he and former Vice President, Steve Zoretich expanded the business into Central Pennsylvania by opening the Carlisle branch. Over the years, the Carlisle office has grown and expanded through merger into Perry County, PA as well.
In 2020, Mr. Doty and Mr. Trevor Frederick joined President Fred Frederick as owners of the company. Mr. Doty runs the offices in Pennsylvania and continues to grow the business in that market. He especially enjoys helping a customer with project procurement and due diligence and building relationships that last beyond the individual project. Justin lives in Chambersburg with his wife and two boys.
Trevor has been with FSA since 2004, starting as a summer intern on the survey crew and eventually moving inside as a CAD technician. Upon graduating from Penn State University’s College of Engineering program with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Water Resources focus, Trevor returned to the family business as a project engineer. He worked underneath of licensed project managers designing and engineering land development plans until he accumulated enough experience to acquire his professional engineering license.
Since then, Trevor has taken on a leadership role within the company as the Director of Development and Vice President. He has established his own clientele through his Leadership Washington County connections and customer service. Trevor lives in the Greencastle area with his wife and two children and enjoys spending his free time in the outdoors.
