Carlisle Middle School – Groundbreaking

Last Friday, May 29th, the Carlisle Area School District administrators gathered with school board members, project partners, community leaders and local residents to celebrate the groundbreaking ceremony for its new Carlisle Middle School.

Our team at FSA helped design a site for the two-story, approximately 213,000 square-foot building. The facility will be adjacent to Wilson Intermediate School and is designed to serve students in grades 7 and 8, which comes as part of the district’s k-8 facilities plan. Further, FSA worked diligently to provide transit network improvement plans that will increase overall vehicular traffic flow and pedestrian circulation.

Construction is expected to be underway for the next two years, with hopes of opening for the 2028-2029 school year.
