Carlisle Neighborhood Border Reforestation Plan

Project Brief

This large reforestation design plan was funded in a response to an industrial area being built adjacent to two residential neighborhoods in southwest Carlisle. Land was dedicated to plantings and large earthen berms to help block unwanted views for neighbors which have not worked. FSA proposed a large scale reforestation plan along these berms to help block the views once the vegetation has matured. Along with the blocking of the the views, another goal of the project was to ensure that these plantings do not take away from the Forbes Path trail network but enhance the users experience along these recreational trails.
